Abstract

Increasing Increasing competition in the wholesale furniture sector requires organizations to align strategic direction, organizational structure, and responses to changes in the external business environment. This study examines the relationships of organizational strategy, organizational structure design, and external environment with organizational effectiveness at Rizquna Wholesale Furniture Store in Jatibarang, Indramayu, Indonesia. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using a saturated sampling method involving all 43 employees of the organization. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics. The results show that organizational structure design and the external environment have statistically significant partial relationships with organizational effectiveness, with p-values of 0.033 and 0.044, respectively, whereas organizational strategy does not have a statistically significant partial relationship (p = 0.084). The overall regression model is statistically significant (F = 24.817, p < 0.001), with an R² value of 0.656, indicating that the three independent variables collectively explain 65.6% of the variance in organizational effectiveness. Because the available statistical evidence does not include standardized regression coefficients or comparable effect-size measures, the study does not designate any single variable as the strongest predictor. The findings indicate that organizational effectiveness at Rizquna is associated with the combined contribution of strategic, structural, and environmental dimensions. The study is limited to one wholesale furniture business and 43 employees; therefore, the findings should be interpreted as context-specific evidence and should not automatically be generalized to other organizations or business sectors.
