Peer Review Process
The International Journal of Engineering Continuity is an international electronic journal published by Sultan Publisher. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are first reviewed by the editor for suitability in terms of focus and scope, originality, contribution, and methodology. Manuscripts deemed appropriate by the editor are then sent to at least three anonymous reviewers for evaluation of their contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (double-blind review). Reviewer comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary action and response. The editor will notify the author of the review results as soon as possible, typically within 30 to 60 days. Articles returned to the author for revision must be resubmitted to the editor promptly via the OJS system. The final decision on article acceptance will be made by the editor based on the reviewers' comments.
Additionally, the editor will run a plagiarism check using Turnitin. If an article shows more than 25% similarity based on the inspection results, it will be returned to the author for revision. Authors must also ensure that every reference cited is included in the reference list. Articles submitted to this journal must be written in English.
Accepted research articles will be available online (free to download) and published under Open Access, making them immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. We continue to work with our author community to select the best licensing option, which is currently defined for this journal as Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY-SA).
