AI Declaration

The  International Journal of Engineering Continuity recognizes the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in research and scientific writing. To ensure transparency, integrity, and accountability in scholarly publishing, authors are required to disclose any use of AI technologies in the preparation of their manuscripts. Authors must clearly state in their submission whether AI tools (such as text generation, data analysis, image creation, or code assistance tools) have been used at any stage of the research or manuscript preparation. The declaration should include the name of the tool, its purpose, and the extent of its use.

AI tools may be used to assist in improving language, grammar, or readability; however, they must not replace the authors’ intellectual contribution. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, validity, and integrity of the content, including any parts generated or assisted by AI. The use of AI for generating core scientific content, such as results, analysis, or conclusions, without proper verification and human oversight is strictly discouraged. Any misuse of AI that leads to plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or ethical misconduct may result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policy.
